Interim featherweight champion Conor McGregor mixed in some old-school/freakshow training for his upcoming UFC 194 match with Jose Aldo. The 5’9″ 145-pound Irishman did some bare-knuckle sparring against Iceland’s 6’9″ 400-pound Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson,

Today I had a bare-knuckle fight off a 180kg monster called 'The Mountain' I'd never fought, or even seen a man that big before.

Björnsson plays the role of Gregor “The Mountain That Rides” Clegane on the fourth and fifth seasons of Game of Thrones. McGregor managed to stay alive and keep his skull intact against the real-life giant, which is better than GoT’s Oberyn Martell faired.
