Midway through the 2015-16 season, the Detroit Red Wings are looking good to extend their mind-boggling streak of post-season appearances to 25. A big part of the current squad’s 25-18-8 record has been Tomas Tatar’s play. The left winger is tied for second in goals (14) and is third in points (30).

Tatar recently showed off his stickhandling skills while wearing a GoPro helmet cam to produce a first-person perspective video. The Slovak credits his prowess with the puck to playing lots of street hockey as a kid.

Tatar’s big-time contribution to the Red Wings this season was foreshadowed by a hat trick he scored versus the Chicago Blackhawks back in September.
