Southern University of Baton Rouge has long been privy to what a treasure it has in its Human Jukebox marching band and Dancing Dolls, but now the whole country knows. The dynamic duo covered Adele’s “Hello” with an electrifying performance at Friday’s Bayou Classic game with Grambling State.

On the gridiron, Grambling State ended the Southern Jaguars streak of three wins in their series, prevailing 34-23, but SU clearly won the Battle of the Bands (and dancers).

In September, the Human Jukebox made their first ever appearance at Sanford Stadium Athens, Georgia, and did not disappoint with a cover of New Radicals 1998 hit “You Get What You Give.”

Demonstrating their far-ranging musical chops, the Human Jukebox performed Guns N’ Roses “Welcome to the Jungle” at their school’s football game with Jackson State University.

For Southern University’s game versus Talladega College, the band rocked out on Rihanna’s popular “B*itch Better Have My Money,” and the Dancing Dolls, as usual, were in fine form.

While Southern’s Human Jukebox provides the music to keep fans enthralled, the SU Dancing Dolls provide the visuals to make their joint performances a tour de force.
